I truly appreciate our session and the difference it has made.  So much has been revealed to me since we connected!  I understand why I was feeling resistant and somewhat cynical during our session.  It exposed the part of me that has always wanted the answers to be outside of me, that has searched for the person that would have the magic wand to transform my life.  So at first I was disappointed when I realized that was not what you were offering (because of course you can't).  I now see the part of me that didn't want to take full responsibility for myself or be that accountable.  Plus there was a part of me that didn't believe I had that direct connection with God and Source That unworthy part.  So long story short, you gave me such a gift by reminding me that the power is inside of me, that I can connect with God directly and can receive my own answers and guidance!   I thank you from the bottom of my heart for that!   You are a beautiful and courageous person, Barbara, and I respect so much what you are sharing with the world.   I hope our paths cross again!   Love and gratitude, Jane

Dear Barbara --   Thank you many times over for being you !!! It has been such a blessing to have found you and the HSC !    The changes that have occurred have been amazing.  When I read about this course in your email, I did not know anything about Higher Self Communication.  And then as we journaled and I started asking questions and getting answers, I started to face fears and anger and resentment that had been buried so deep that I did not know it was there.  As that melted away, I am finding that I see life through different eyes. And I also find that no matter what happens during the day, be it "good or bad", there is this little core of joy inside of me that does not go away, it is like a little candle that is burning, and I like it so much that I am going to work on making it burn brighter -- it has caused me to start speaking my truth -- to not be silent when something happens that doesn't work for me -- the flame just burns a little brighter each time.  What an awesome feeling !!  I know that there is much more that lies buried and it is so wonderful to have a source to turn to for help with just a pen and paper. I apologize for just now getting around to reading it. More importantly, I want you to know what a huge inspiration you have been to me. I bought your book Stop Being the String Along: A Relationship Guide to Being THE ONE. I realized after reading this book that it was meant for me to send a copy to two of my nieces who always get hooked up with the type of fellow that does not serve their highest good. So, I bought another copy of your book to send to each of my nieces, which I will be doing this week. I also bought a copy of your book If God Hears Me, I Want an Answer! In addition, I had downloaded your E-Book on how to write to God and get answers that are always honest, yet gentle and loving, and never condemning of anyone.   I don't know of anyone who has not been through a rough time in their life, be it emotional, mental, or physical. What I do know is that God has sent us nothing but angels, and that often those angels have been sent so that we can learn from them, even though we may not realize it at the time. I don't believe in accidents, coincidences, nor victim-hood. I do believe that everything happens for a reason, even though we may not know the reason at the time, and that all things work for good in the end.   In the pamphlet, The Song of Prayer: Prayer, Forgiveness, Healing, which is An Extension of the Principles of A Course In Miracles, scribed by Helen Schucman, Jesus says to "Ask . . . to receive what is already given; to accept what is already there." (S, 1, I 1, 7). Since everything we wanted in this lifetime has already been given, all we really have to do is to allow ourselves the acceptance of God's gifts. We struggle a lot with this because of different circumstances, upbringing, etc. Yet, it is our own Ego that we usually listen to. And, it is that very Ego that does not know how to Love as God loves, nor how to See as God sees.   Therefore, I am here to tell you that your are an Angel sent to us from God; a most delightful gift from God, with the sensitivity to your 6th sense to be able to teach those of us who have much to learn from you. I just received your email regarding God's Answers To Barbara Rose In A Personal Writing. A similar thing happened to me a little over a year ago. Two people who were very close friends, one of whom had been working with me for a year, chose to slander me. It hurt, just like this event hurt you. Statements 3 and 4 worked for me. The other thing that has worked for me is that I decided that it would be futile to confront either person with this because they were not capable of "hearing it" at that time and therefore would have used my defense/explanation as as more fodder. There was a saying that my dad used to always quote in an old Sicilian dialect that his father used to always use. This is what I heard, over and over in my heart as I was dealing with this incident. Here it is in English: SOMETIMES THE MOST POWERFUL WORD IS THE ONE THAT IS NOT SPOKEN! My response has been a variation of     # 3...I don't feel that it is necessary or wise to place myself in the energy or drama that occurs within that group. When I was first in the process of going public with my work, Steve Rother told me that as soon as you "step to the front of the room you become a target and someone will always be gunning for you." Some would say that that is a self-fulfilling prophecy and it may very well be but there are over 6 billion people on this planet and it would be unrealistic to think that every one of them would like or resonate with my work and my truth...or yours...or Steve's...or Lee Carroll's...etc. So...you are in front of the room, someone took a shot at you, wounded you and now you are healing. Dearest Barbara, I have written other letters of deep gratitude towards YOU, what you are teaching, and mostly how you teach it, from the beginning of this course. submitted on Saturday August 22, 2009 1:55 pm EST When I was at my lowest and considering suicide, through divine guidance Barbara came into my life and I had a couple of intensive private sessions with her via telephone. They were mind blowing and gave me many insights into myself, and learnt how to love myself. I needed only two sessions with her to turn my life around. The messages and guidances come through her from God and NOT from her and it is quite physically draining, hence she does not take on many clients. Barbara feels the energy of everyone who wants a session with her and "chooses" the one most ready for personal transformation. I am currently participating in an intensive with Barbara and I can tell you that it has been a wonderful, inspirational experience for me. At first I thought it would be really difficult to "hear" from God but once Barbara taught the process to me the words just began to flow. I encourage you to follow your heart in making your decision to take the intensive. I am led to ask you how you would feel if you didn't take it - would you feel as if you let an opportunity go by that felt as if it could be an amazing transformational experience? Or do you feel the need to search for something else? Your heart, your true self knows the answer. The best I can tell you in giving you more information is to tell you that I made the decision to take the intensive based on how excited it made me feel to think about receiving pure, divine truth. And your words describing this as "a new path" are exactly right. It is a new path of receiving divine, pure, beautiful, sometimes humorous guidance! Whatever your decision is about the intensive, I know you have already made a difference in your life by joining this Yahoo group - the spirit of this group is very strong and uplifting! For me it's the perfect thing to do at this point in my life. I love Barbara, and she is an amazing teacher! Love pours out of her and she is there for me 24/7 if I need her. I have learned and grown SO much since starting the intensive, and I really look forward to our weekly sessions. :-) It really is about inner transformation and then how to help others in your own unique way to transform their lives [if you're wanting to take the longer intensive to become a teacher/coach. There are many things I have learned while taking the intensive with Barbara, and there has also been a wonderful physical change. I had a 'knot' in my stomach that had been there for a long, long time. In fact I don't even remember life without it. However, I wasn't aware it was there until it went away. I don't really know how to describe it, but I felt funny one day, like something was missing. It wasn't a bad feeling, it was just different. That's when I realized the knot in my stomach was gone! I was really excited and now if that knot reappears for even a few minutes I know what it is and I can quickly get rid of it. I can't tell you how empowering that is, or how grateful I am to be rid of it! Believe me, I do not like having that knot. I feel inside of myself that I'm doing what I want to do, and that I'm going where I want to go in this life. I don't even know exactly what that is right now. It's all unfolding in the moment, and it's fun! Life is supposed to be fun! {That's an Abraham expression I love.} So would I recommend the intensive with Barbara? YES, absolutely, IF it is something you really want to do. You are the only one who can answer that question. If you're not sure, try a writing to God/Higher Self and see what answer you get. Or go by your gut feeling. That's what I did when I made the decision to take the intensive. It felt good, and my gut feeling was to go for it. We're all unique, so there's no right or wrong with this - if you're in alignment with it I don't think you will ever regret taking the intensive. If it's not your thing right now, that's perfect for you. Something else will come along then. Ask - and it is given. I hope this helped to answer your question.
